Change is never always easy to accept but a guaranteed constant in life. Rapper, Nobel understands change very deeply as he quickly transitioned from Iran to the United States at the young age of 3 during the Iran-Iraq war. He quickly picked up poetry and spoken word which soon evolved into rap and music through influences such as Tupac and Bone Thugs n Harmony.
Culture is something that holds weight in one’s identity and Nobel uses that factor as a fire. He pushes himself with the motivation to depict his Kurdish background and rich identity through his music. He aspires to be a figure for others to look up to as a successful Kurdish artist due to the fact that Western culture often glorifies a white savior in place of figures that are of various colors and cultures.
His self-titled, debut album “Nobel” is filled with 10 emotional and story-telling tracks that serve as a vocal depiction of his life experiences and lessons. Check out “Nobel” on all streaming platforms now!
